<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply equivalent load in the left/right either direction in the vehicle advancing direction to a driver and provide a stable operability by setting the control input or the operating physical force in the operation in the direction for separating from the body center smaller than that in the operation in the direction from the arm operating a joy stick to the body center direction of the driver. SOLUTION: A steering operation of a driver is inputted by a joy stick(JS) 3, an angle sensor 4 detects the steering quantity inputted by the driver via the JS 3, and a steering reaction generating means 5 applies the operation reaction to the driver via the JS 3. A car speed detecting means 6, respective wheel speed detecting means 7, a lateral acceleration detecting means 8, and a yaw angle detecting means 9 output respective detective signals to a control means 1. The JS 3 is so set that its reaction becomes larger as the steering target, the lateral acceleration value, and the car speed become larger, and the reaction of the right operation is set smaller than the reaction of the left operation. Even the operation in the direction for separating from the body center of the driver becomes an equivalent operation load to the operation in the body center direction so that the driving stability of the vehicle can be improved.</p> |
