The invention concerns a device for stimulating the locomotor system and the musculature, in particular in the leg and back regions. According to the invention, in order to carry out stimulation with the lowest possible stress on the cardiac circulatory system, two tread surfaces (22) are disposed on a frame (10) and can be raised and lowered by a drive mechanism (24, 26, 28) in a push-pull oscillating manner. The basic tone of the musculature is regulated by means of the own weight of the patient standing on the tread surfaces (22) whilst the muscles are stimulated by the oscillating tread surface movement. |
