PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the movement property of a supporter and to improve the protectiveness by providing bend facilitating holes at one of or the both of the inner and outer bending sides of a joint at the time of mounting a supporter in the circumference of the joint and providing an impact mitigating protecting member on one of or the both of the side surfaces of the joint. SOLUTION: In a supporter 10 for knees, for example, a cylindrical supporter main body 11 with extracting/contracting property is formed by a sheet in which a knitted or rubber material is made as a base material. Then, the holes 12 and 13 are formed in the front and rear parts of a joint, that is, in parts being the outer and inner bending sides at the time of mounting the supporter so that the joint is easily bent. At the same time, the supporter 10 is prevented from being rotated around the joint at the time of mounting it. Further, protecting members 14 are provided on the both side surfaces of the joint to make an impact mitigate at the time of falling. The protecting members 14 are formed by a urethane foamed material, etc., and fitted to the supporter main body 11 by pressurizing it through the use of an applying cloth. Thus, the joint protectiveness of the supporter 10 is improved without damaging the movement property. |
