PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize output electric power of entire solar battery array and improve degree of freedom in designing, by arranging solar battery strings in which a plurality of solar battery modules are connected in series, over a plurality of different installation surfaces. SOLUTION: In general houses provided with a rectangular hip roof to which solar battery arrays 2 are installed, there is an area enough to install a total of 72 solar battery modules, e.g. 47 modules on southern plane and 25 modules on eastern plane. The range of input voltage of inverter to be used and the number of solar battery modules in series are between 10 and 20, so that a part of a solar battery string 201 is installed on not only one plane but also over the adjacent planes. Thus, respective solar battery strings 201 to 204 are formed by connecting 18 solar battery modules in series, and they are installed on the whole area for installation. Further, the solar battery string is comprised by connecting electrically solar battery modules so as to a desired voltage. |
