PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, fast and highly sensitive optical transmitter/ receiver capable of suppressing the signal interference of an external noise, etc., by electrically connecting the signal terminals of both light-emitting and receiving elements, via a flexible board containing a ground layer and also forming a shield surrounds the signal terminals by connecting the ground layer to grounding layer. SOLUTION: A flexible board 10 is provided to cover a connecting part 3, where the signal terminals of a light-emitting element 1 is connected to a circuit board 4. The board 10 consists of a grounding layer 10A which is placed on the outside, a flexible insulating layer 10B and a signal wiring 10C which are provided in the layer 10B, has a size larger than the circuit mounting part and then is fixed to a metallic holder 1B of the element 1 via connecting member 13. The layer 10A is connected to grounding layer via a through-hole 4B. The board 10 also covers and shields a connecting part 7, where the signal terminal of a light-receiving element 5 is connected to the board 4. |
