PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character processor which can move or copy cells which are discretely arranged to different places while the relative positions are held. SOLUTION: In the character processor, the cell of a copy source is instructed and a cell coordinate in a character code storage area (MATM) 8b and a character in the cell are stored in a copy storage area (COPYM) 8c. Then, the cell of a copy destination is designated and moving quantity is calculated. Moving quantity is added to the coordinate stored in the copy storage area (COPYM) 8c and the coordinate of the copy destination is obtained. The content of the copy storage area (COPYM) 8c is transferred to the character code storage area (MATM) 8b of the coordinate of the copy destination. The operation is repeated for cell quantity registered in the copy storage area (COPYM) 8c. Thus, the respective cells are copied while the mutual relative positions before copying are held. |
