PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maneuver stability and uneven-wear resistance by restraining a change in tread characteristics following a change of the size of a block during one turn of a tire. SOLUTION: The lateral groove wall surface of a lateral groove 18 at a small pitch P2 section is inclined in such a direction that a lateral groove width is larger on the tread side than on the groove bottom side. The lateral groove wall surface of the lateral groove 18 of a large pitch P1 is inclined in such a direction that the lateral groove width is smaller on the tread side than on the groove bottom side. A difference between the rigidity of a small land part 24S at the small pitch 2 section and that of a large land part 24L at a large pitch P1 section becomes small, thus it is possible to restrain a level fluctuation in tread characteristics during tire rolling and to improve control stability and uneven-wear resistance. |
