摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize the effect obtained from an active material in an electrode paste by providing a current collecting substrate, an electrode active material consisting of at least one component containing at least one inclusion having a particle size of a specified value or less within carbon particle, and a means related to components for preventing the loss of electric contact between components by the mechanical deterioration of the components. SOLUTION: An electrode 100 is provided with a current collector 112 and an electrode layer 114, and the electrode layer 114 is formed of a plurality of components 118 containing carbon particles 120 having at least one inclusion 122 having a particle size of 1 μm or less. The carbon particles 120 make contact to each other in contact points 124, and the inclusion 122 has a contact point 125 with the carbon particle 120 similarly with a void 128. The void 128 acts so that the inclusion 122 can be expanded when lithium ion is internally added. Thus, the carbon particles 120 can keep the mutually contact state without being cracked, and excellent energy density and volume capacity can be provided.
