PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fare adjusting machine and system for additionally registering fare adjustment information for a special train ticket medium, and for operating a fare adjustment processing to the special train ticket medium in a short working time and at low costs. SOLUTION: When a maintenanc mode button 316b is pressed, a menu screen in a maintenance mode is displayed on a display part 314 for a staff, and a fare adjustment information registration mode is selected. A special train ticket medium to be registered is inputted from a train ticket medium input port 304, the kind of a ticket is judged by a ticket processing part 321, and fare adjustment information for an inputted specific train ticket medium is prepared by a fare adjustment processing part 330, and stored in an RAM 325b. This fare adjustment information is transmitted through a communication control part 100 to a host computer side, and fare adjustment information is distributed through the host computer to all fare adjusting machines. |
