FIELD: filters for purification of water taken for drinking from open ponds. SUBSTANCE: individual filter has cylindrical casing tightly connected to pipe union at outlet and with gauze at inlet. Cylindrical casing is filled with adsorbent and ion-exchange medium. Cylindrical casing is separable into two parts with each part length and diameter ratio of (4-5):1. Adsorbent in each part is enclosed with ion-exchange medium. Lower part of filter has branch pipe for tight connection with its upper part.
