Assembly procedure for motor vehicle door window winding mechanism with slider, plate, guide rail and cable

The procedure consists of passing the cable (1) round its drum (6) and two return elements (4) at the ends of the guide rail (2) while the plate (5) carrying the cable is separate from the rail and the cable is not under tension. The plate is then moved relative to the rail and fixed to it in the assembled winder position and with the cable under the required tension. The plate is pivoted relative to a lateral extension (7) on the rail by means of lugs (9) inserted in slots (11) and then fixed by welding or riveting.
