PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the traveling on a soft ground such as on the grass without generating any wheel track by fixing a flat thick-walled elastic layer on an outer circumferential surface consisting of foamed elastomer of the prescribed expansion ratio on the outer circumferential surface having resin coating of a metallic wheel. SOLUTION: A metallic wheel 1 formed with a resin coating on an outer circumferential surface is filled in a die for foam casting, and a foaming elastomer (e.g. polyurethane) composition is poured therein. In the foaming elastomer composition the foamed layer is continuous bubbles or the mixture of continuous bubbles and independent bubbles, and the kind of each component and the blending ratio are set so that the expansion ratio is in a range of 1.5 to 6, preferably, in a range of 0.5 to 2. A thick-walled elastic layer 3 consisting of foamed elastomer is integratedly formed on the outer circumferential surface of the wheel 1. |
