PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicine composition capable of preventing and treating various diseases in which nitrogen monoxide and/or an inflammatory prostaglandin takes part in crisis and deterioration of condition, especially diseases such as inflammatory diseases, septic shock or the like, by inhibiting an induction type nitrogen monoxide synthase and/or an induction type cyclooxygenase. SOLUTION: This induction inhibitor against an induction type nitrogen monoxide synthase and/or an induction type cyclooxygenase comprises at least one kind selected from the group consisting of prostaglandin D2 , prostaglandin J2 ,Δ<12> -prostaglandin J2 and 15-deoxy-Δ<12> ,<14> -prostaglandin J2 as an active ingredient. The preventive/therapeutic agent for diseases, especially inflammatory diseases and septic shock, effective by induction inhibition of both the enzymes comprises at least one kind selected from the group consisting of prostaglandin D2 , prostaglandin J2 ,Δ<12> -prostaglandin J2 and 15-deoxyΔ<12> ,<14> -prostaglandin J2 as an active ingredient.
