PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocorrosion preventing method capable of efficiently executing the derusting of the body to be electrocorroded and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: Primary and secondary low potential metallic assembled bodies 25 and 26 are arranged in housing 21 via an insulating member 31. The voltage of a DC battery 34 is applied on the primary and secondary low potential metallic assembled bodies 25 and 26 through a low voltage feeding device 37 from both connecting lines 32 and 33. In the case seawater infiltrates into the housing 21, both metallic assembled bodies 25 and 26 are electrically connected, and, according to the principle of plating, corrosion preventive coating in which copper and zinc are mixed is formed, e.g. on the inner wall face of the cooling passage of an engine to prevent the generation of rust. |
