PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide recovery type combustion installation capable of being operated to recover the carbon dioxide without circulating the combustion gas and without excessively raising the combustion temperature, thus capable of reducing operation power, improving the efficiency of the operation, reducing the volume of a gas to be charged into the combustion device, compacting the whole installation, and reducing the costs of the operation and the installation. SOLUTION: A fuel 3 is supplied to a combustion device 1a, and oxygen 4 in an amount corresponding to that of the fuel is also stepwisely supplied to the combustion devices 1a-1c in a form divided into plural portions. The fuel 3 is burnt in the combustion device 1a in a partially oxidizing form, and the temperature of the combustion gas 5a is lowered with a heat exchanger 2a. The residuel fuel 3 in the combustion gas 5a is burnt in the combustion device 1b in a partially oxidized form, and the temperature of the combustion gas 5b is lowered with a heat exchanger 2b. The residual fuel 3 in the combustion gas 5b is perfectly burnt with the combustion device 1c, and the temperature of the combustion gas 5c is lowered with the heat exchanger 2c. The combustion gas is further cooled with a carbon dioxide-recovery device 6 to separate water 7 and recover the carbon dioxide 8. |
