PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the shortening of preparation time before printing, the reduction of labor load, the improvement of production efficiency, the reduction of manufacturing cost and the like. SOLUTION: A printing unit for replacing a printing plate is selected (S103). Inker clutches of all the printing units are made to be off in a trail printing system by the above arrangement (S104). Then an automatic printing plate replacement device is operated to carry out the automatic replacement of the printing plate of selected printing unit (S105). Also steps 106, 107 and 108 are carried out in parallel with the automatic replacement of the printing plates, and the ink film thickness distribution in compliance with the patterns of new printing plates is formed on ink roller groups of the selected printing unit. |
