PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an error in controlling toner density after restart of operation of an image forming device from being generated by setting newly a reference value of a detecting signal based on a detection signal after the restart of operation of a device when a detection signal directly after resist of image forming operation is compared with a detection signal directly before the stop of the operation of the device and they are different. SOLUTION: A detection signal reference value compensating means stores a detection voltage signal from an inductance head 20 directly before the stop of the operation of the device is a record holding device 23 such as a non- volatile memory and the like. Next, directly after the restart of the operation of the device, the detection voltage signal directly before the stop of the operation of the device stored in the record holding device 23 is supplied to one side of input of a second comparator 24, a detection voltage signal from an inductance head 20 directly after start of operation of the device is inputted to the other side of input, and its difference value is sent to a second CPU 25. The second CPU 25 varies a signal reference value outputted from a reference voltage signal source 22 by the difference value. |
