PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method to assist a physician in a stitching treatment when using a surgical needle and a suture. SOLUTION: This device comprises handle 6 to support the device and a pair of arms 14 and 15 extending from the handle 6 to the tip with ends attached to the handle 6. The ends of the arms 14 and 15 have grippers 8 and 9 attached to the ends in order to hold needle 1 and release it. This device has More than one mechanisms to move the ends of the arms 14 and 15, which are adjacent to each other, in order to put the needle through from one gripper to the other. Then, the ends of the arms 14 and 15 can be detached without moving the needle 1 toward the handle 6. |
