PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rigidly stick a photocatalyst particle on the whole base body over the long period without damaging photocatalytic function by sticking the photocatalyst particle on the base body through a hardly decomposable binder. SOLUTION: This photocatalytic body is formed by sticking the photocatalyst particle on the base body with the hardly decomposable binder. As the hardly decomposable binder, for example, a silicon compound such as water glass, colloidal silica or polyorgano siloxane, phosphate such as zinc phosphate or aluminum phosphate, biphosphate an inorganic binder such as cement, lime, gypsum, frit for enamel, glaze for glass lining or plaster or an organic binder such as a fluoropolymer and a silicone polymer is mentioned. The binders are used individually or in the combination of >=2 kinds. Particularly the inorganic binder, the fluoropolymer or the silicone polymer is desirable in the view point of adhesive strength. |
