PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data display method for a personal handyphone system which makes its display more distinctive. SOLUTION: Illustration data at a specific position are obtained (S2) and character data before and behind the specific position are obtained (S3 to S5). Position where the illustration data and character data are displayed overlapping are detected, the outline positions of characters are detected from the overlap display positions, and the display density of adjacent illustration data is varied (S6 to S10). For example, the contiguity parts between the outlines of the illustration and characters are displayed in a void state. In the display of this state, the border between the illustration and characters is made distinctive and the characters are conspicuous, so the characters are easily read. Consequently, much character information can be displayed overlapping with the illustration data without any trouble to information transmission, so the outlines of the illustration and characters is made distinctive and the character display is easily read. |
