<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a linear pixel defect. SOLUTION: In an insulating film which covers a data line 2, a contact hole 5a for exposing the data line 2 is formed. If the data line 2 is broken, a conductive film 5 is formed over two contact holes 5a across the break part. Consequently, a signal voltage is supplied to a pixel electrode beyond the break place through a conductive line 5. If a leak in the intersection of a gate line 1 and the data line 2 is caused, the data line 2 is cut on both the sides of the intersection and the conductive film 5 is formed over the two contact holes 5a across the leak part. Consequently, the signal voltage is supplied to a pixel electrode beyond the leak place through the conductive line 5.</p> |
