PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying an edge band having an excellent joining strength, and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: This method for applying an edge band comprises heating the adhesion edges of a structure 102 and/or the edge band 130 at a higher temperature than 25 deg.C, applying a heated reactive adhesive to the heated adhesion edge, and subsequently joining the edge band 130 to the structure 102 with the reactive adhesive to form the joined structure.
