PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inconvenience such as thrusting the tip part of a reaping pre-treatment part into a ground suitably by improving a structure thereof reasonably while avoiding a wide complexation of the device structure. SOLUTION: This reap height controlling device in a reaping harvester, is provided by installing a non-contact type means S1 for detecting the height to the ground and a contact type means S2 for detecting a close state to the ground in which the height to the ground becomes a preset value or less at a reaping pre-treatment part joined to the front part of a machine body through a driving mechanism 4 driven as freely liftable up and down, and executing a forced lifting up control to actuate a driving mechanism 4 for elevating an operational side by the controlling device 12 according to the detection of the close state by the means S2 for detecting the close state to the ground. |
