PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge both of a pack battery housed in an electric appliance and a pack battery taken out of the electric appliance, with a single power transmission coil. SOLUTION: A charging block 2 excites a power transmission coil 4 with an AC power source in order to charge a pack battery 3 with no contact. The pack battery 3 rectifies AC power induced in a power receiving coil 5 which is electromagnetically connected to the power transmission coil 4 and charges a built-in secondary battery. The charging block 2 has an appliance mounting part 2A for mounting a portable electric appliance 1 and a battery mounting part 2B for mounting the pack battery 3, the appliance mounting part 2A and the battery mounting part 2B are connected through a common mounting part 2K, and the power transmission coil 4 is arranged in the vicinity of the common mounting part 2K. |
