PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synthetic resin composition which prevents static build up and an electric shock because of its persistent antistatic effect, and is excel lent in transparency and bleed resistance and suitable for a constituent member for a house by blending a specified synthetic resin, an ester having an ether linkage in its alkyl chain, and a specified ammonium salt. SOLUTION: This antistatic resin composition has a surface resistivity of 1×10<7> to 9×10<10>Ω/square and is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a least one synthetic resin (A) selected from the group consisting of vinyl chloride resins, polypropylene resins, polyethylene resins, polystyrene resins and acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene copolymer resins, 1-120 pts.wt. ester (B) having an ether linkage in its alkyl chain, and 0.5-30 pts.wt. compound (C) represented by the formula (wherein one of R<1> , R<2> and R<3> is a 5-24C alkyl, and the other two of them are each a 1-5C alkyl; R<4> is a 2-4c alkylene; (n) is 1 to 15; and X is an anion derived from hydrochloric acid, chloric acid or perchloric acid).
