PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle a panel and a funnel, cemented integrally by a glass cement, of a cathode-ray tube by separating them from each other without causing a flaw. SOLUTION: A funnel neck tube part is cut off by flame in a neck tube part cutting device 1. The surface side part of a glass cement is melted by acid in a cement melting device 2. A panel and the funnel are separated from each other by breaking the glass cement by the thermal shock produced by a rapid temperature variation caused by hot water and cold water in a thermal shock applying device 3. The glass cements remaining and sticking on the cemented surfaces of the separated panel and the funnel are melted and removed individually by acid in a cement removing device 4. The panel and the funnel are cleaned by a cleaning solvent individually in a cleaning device 5.
