PURPOSE: To provide the new public mobile communication service without the need for a new frequency resource. CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with plural clusters 13 using m-sets of frequency channel bands and arranged repetitively, m-sets of large cells formed by dividing each cluster 13 into 1/m, and base stations provided in each large cell and n-th (1<=n<=m) frequency channel band is allocated to an n-th (1<=n<=m) large cell. In the public mobile communication system as above, (m+1)-sets and succeeding small cells smaller than m-sets large cell are provided in the n-th (1<=n<=m) large cell, other frequency channel bands than the n-th (1<=n<=m) frequency channel band are allocated to the small cell among the m-sets of frequency channel bands, and one frequency channel band is used in duplicate by the large cell and the small cell in one cluster 13. Thus, the diversified mobile communication service is provided through a limited frequency channel allocated to the public mobile communication system. |
