FIELD: electrical engineering; induction motors with soldered squirrel-cage winding. SUBSTANCE: rotor has core whose holes receive winding bars soldered on both ends in end rings. Novelty is that stiff bars of rotor winding are provided with springing members formed from bar proper that has two sections placed between core and end rings. These sections are notched on end and bar portions separated from each other by notch are made in the form of two bulges pointing away from notch surface. The latter is normal to plain crossing bar axis and rotor axis of revolution. This measure compensates for radial and tangential thermomechanical forces at bar-to-ring soldered joints for round- square-, rectangular-, and elliptical-section bars and those whose moments of resistance in relatively perpendicular axes do not differ by more than two times from each other. EFFECT: improved reliability of squirrel-cage rotor. 1 dwg
