FIELD: medicine, in particular, general surgery, measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has ferroprobe transducer containing metal nonmagnetic protective casing which accommodates sensitive half-elements in the form of coils with permalloy cores positioned on nonmetallic panel. Half-elements are positioned orthogonally to longitudinal axis of transducer, in parallel and orthogonally to each other. Their windings are interconnected gradientometrically and connected to electric measuring unit of instrument. In addition, half-elements are provided with light indicator brought out onto face panel. Holes are made in protective casing wall. Their centers coincide with magnetic axes of sensitive half-elements arranged with space between protective casing wall and one of their ends. EFFECT: formation of unambiguous signal.
