HORTICULTURAL MACHINE FOR TILLING LAND STRIPS BETWEEN TREE TRUNKS

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: machine has frame and multiple-shaft cylindrical reducer with horizontal casing connected to frame. Reducer has stops on opposite ends and rotavators mounted on vertical output shafts. Vertical shafts are positioned for rotation relative to central vertical output shaft. Mechanism for controlling rotation of rotavators through 180 deg during passing around tree trunk has two sleeves positioned one behind the other and attached to frame and to fingers connected to opposite arms of double-armed lever with axis of rotation on frame. Double-armed lever is connected to feeler. Fingers are positioned in sleeves so that when feeler comes into contact with tree trunk, front finger comes out of contact with stops and reducer is urged to turn for passing around tree trunk. At the same time rear finger is withdrawn for coming into engagement with other stop of reducer casing to prevent reducer from rotation through more than 180 deg. When feeler is out of contact with tree trunk, front finger is engaged with reducer stop and rear finger is away from zone of engagement with stops. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
