The invention concerns an apparatus such as a two-wheeled robot consisting of a support system on the ground and an upper body (30), equipped with a gyroscopic spinner (31) acting as support point to stabilise the apparatus when it is placed in inverted pendulum, ensuring a satisfactory equilibrium, thereby releasing from this function the system controlling the locomotion and travel of the robot.
