PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the latch device with excellent drive capability, less power consumption and a small chip occupied area. SOLUTION: An N channel transistor(TR) 217 and a P channel TR 211 are inserted in series with a P channel TR 213 and an N channel TR 215 which are a basic building block in a feedback inverter 207 in the latch device to configure a feedback inverter with a small input capacitance. Thus, a load on a drive inverter 205 is relieved and an output level of the feedback inverter 207 is kept small and the chip occupied area of the inverter 207 is reduced.
