PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transducer having a high mechanical strength and a superior electrical characteristic by suppressing the variation of the grain sizes of sintered ceramic particles. SOLUTION: A laminated piezoelectric transducer is formed in such a way that piezoelectric ceramic sheets 7 having inner electrodes 8 formed in prescribed areas are laminated upon another and the areas where the electrodes 8 are formed and where the electrodes 8 are not formed are respectively used as input and output sections 101 and 102, and then, a ceramic paste section 9 which is formed by mixing a small amount of metal powder in the same ceramic power as that used in the ceramic sheets 7 and has the same thickness as each inner electrode 8 has is interposed between each layer of the output section 102. The metal powder is composed of silver powder, palladium powder, or their mixture and the mixing ratio of the metal powder against the ceramic powder is adjusted to 0.1-3 wt.%. |
