<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a spring spacer from being forgotten to be assembled, by facilitating assembling of a core mounted with the spacer with respect to an input shaft. SOLUTION: In the torque sensor for a power steering system comprising a torsion bar is coupled between an input shaft and an output shaft, a core 15 for engaging with the input shaft and the output shaft is provided, the displacement of the core 15 is electrically detected by a detecting coil when a torque is operated between the input shaft and the output shaft, and a coiled spring for urging the core 15 in one direction to always displace following the change of the torque operating between the input shaft and the output shaft; an annular spring spacer 22 is interposed between the core 15 and the spring, and detachably mounted the core 15.</p> |
