PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the noise of a device from being increased and to prevent the life of a cooling means from getting shorter when the cooling means is actuated to cool the device for a fixed constant cooling time after finishing printing in an image forming device of electrophotographic processing system. SOLUTION: This image forming device which prints a sheet by electrophotographic processing is provided with the cooling means 102 cooling the device, and an electric part 101 equipped with a sheet number counting means counting the number of consecutively printed sheets and a time measuring means measuring the actuation time of the cooling means from finishing printing operation till stopping the cooling means. The time required till stopping the cooling means is made variable according to the counted result by the counting means, so that cooling in accordance with the number of printed sheets is realized. |
