PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colored image forming material having high sensitivity, heat resistance and high resolving power by incorporating a photoinitiator, a monomer having one or more ethylenically unsatd. bonds, an alkali-soluble disperse resin and a colorant. SOLUTION: The photosensitive compsn. contains a bisacylphosphine oxide as a photoinitiator, a monomer having one or more ethylenically unsatd. bonds in the molecule, an alkali-soluble disperse resin and a colorant. The photoinitiator is, e.g. benzophenone and the amt. is preferably 0.01-25 wt.% of the total amt. of the solids in the photosensitive liq. The monomer is, e.g. trimethylolpropane triacrylate and the amt. is preferably 1-30 wt.% of the total amt. of the solids. The disperse resin preferably has an acid value of 20-300 and a wt. average mol.wt. of 1,500-200,000. The colorant is, e.g. an org. or inorg. pigment.
