PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting method for being caught in a power window device which in the case where a jamming occurs once at a window on other seat side excepting a window on the side of a driver seat, the operation of a window opening and closing switch arranged near the said window is made impossible after then to avoid the continuous occurrence of jaming. SOLUTION: A window jaming preventing function which at the time of moving of a window on the side of a driver seat or an other seat, detects the occurrence of an insertion of the window, and stops the movement of the detected window or inverses its moving direction is equipped, and a motion stop release switch 11 is provided near the driver seat. In the case where the window jaming preventing function of either of windows on the side of other seats is actuated, after then, the operation function of a window opening and closing switch arranged near the window is stopped, and a window opening and closing prohibiting mode is set up to the window, and the release of setting of mode can be carried out by the operation of a motion stop release switch 11. |
