PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid sudden acceleration and deceleration to prevent belt slip even if one of two solenoid valves controlling two flow control valves, one for increasing speed and the other for reducing speed, has failed while being turned on. SOLUTION: An oil passage R16 (R17) is formed so that control pressure from one solenoid valve 66 (68) selected between a solenoid valve 66 controlling a flow control valve 62 for increasing speed and a solenoid valve 68 controlling a flow control valve 64 for reducing speed is introduced into the control pressure chamber 62h (64h) of the flow control valve 62 (64) corresponding to the solenoid valve 66 (68) and also into the spring chamber 64g (62g) of the other flow control valve 64 (62).
