A method for transmitting reminders within the communication system (100) comprises the steps of transmitting a message to the transceiver (110), determining that information relating to the message has not been received from the transceiver (110) after a predetermined time, and sending a reminder associated with the message to the transceiver (110) after the predetermined time.
