PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express a natural gloss pattern closer to the material face of a natural wood. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional fiber-directional vector field indicating orientation of fibrous substance of a natural wood is defined and this vector field is cut by a cutting face J and an angle of fiber creepingξis defined (S10) as an angle between the fiber directional vector F→and the cutting face J on each point P on the cutting face J. Based on a conversion equation between the angleξand the angleθ, the angleξis converted to the angleθand a directional vector V→forming the angleθto a reference line R and included in the cutting face J is formed (S20) on each point P and a two-dimensional vector field is defined on the cutting face J. A number of shading lines M extending along the directional vector V→are formed (S30) and these shading lines patterns are deformed by acting a one-dimensional scalar field and these deformed shading lines pattern are formed on a transparent embossing sheet as an uneven pattern. A gloss pattern is expressed by shading line channels by laminating this embossed sheet on a printed sheet printed with a woodgrain pattern.
