PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the space of a refrigerating chamber in a mode of an upper and lower stage refrigerating container to provide facility by a method wherein a cooling unit having the same height as that of the opening part of a refrigerating chamber is arranged in the rear part of the back of the refrigerating chamber and arrangement of a compressor is changed. SOLUTION: A refrigerating unit 19 having the same height as that of the opening part of a refrigerating chamber 4 to form a containing part as a storage chamber at a lowermost state is arranged in the rear of the back of the refrigerator chamber 4. A compressor 17 forming a machining chamber 18 is arranged on the ceiling surface of a cold storage chamber 2, where facility is adverse, or a place above the rear part of a refrigerator body. Through arrangement described above, the volume of a machine room 18 is moved from the lower side to the upper side of a partition wall to partition the cold storage chamber 2 and a vegetable chamber 3 from each other. When the volume of each storage chamber is constant, the position of a partition wall for the sold storage chamber 2 and the vegetable chamber 3 is lowered by height equivalent to a quotient given by dividing the volume of the machine room 18 by the bottom area of a refrigerator body 1. Thereby, containing efficiency is improved and a storage format having improved facility is provided. |
