SOLUTION: In order to avoid precognition generated in the case of using regular gasoline for a high-octane gasoline vehicle, at the time of using regular gasoline, control for setting idling speed high or setting accelerator opening upper limit value for limiting accelerator opening small is executed. In target idling speed computing (setting) routine, for instance, target idling speed computing (setting) conditions (engine cooling water temperature, ON-OFF of an air conditioner switch, ON-OFF of a neutral switch and a reverse switch as the state of a transmission, and the judged result of high-octane or regular gasoline) are inputted in a step 1, and target idling speed is computed and set on the basis of the inputted target idling speed computing conditions in a step 2. |
