PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the relative deflection of an ink attainable position through digitization by storing first data showing a plurality of parallel straight lines and second data showing a plurality of parallel straight lines expanded every predetermined dimension, performing recording operation, and setting a correction value in accordance with the relative deflection. SOLUTION: A correction value setting part 48 operates to set a correction value Np for control of an ink attainable position in a direction intersecting the transportation direction of paper 18 in terms of a relative deflection to the recording head 38Bk of a recording head 38C, a relative deflection to the recording head 38Bk of a recording head 38M, and a relative deflection to the recording head 38Bk of a recording head 38Y detected respectively. Also, the correction value setting part 48 supplies the data DAp of the correction value to a control unit 50. The control unit 50 works to calculate based upon the data DAp, and supplies changed data DXa to a dischargeable area changing part 62. In this manner, using areas of each recording head 38Bk-38Y are changed in accordance with each relative deflection along a bank of ink discharge ports. |
