PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a bearing and the service life of the bearing. SOLUTION: A bearing body 1a has density high in a surface layer part 1a1 from its outer surface to a means depth (t), and low in an inner side part 1a2 inward of the surface layer part 1a1. The density of the surface layer part 1a1 is in a range of 85<=α<=95 in terms of the density ratioα(%), while the density of the inner side part 1a2 is in a range of 75<=α<85 in terms of the density ratioα(%). The mean depth (t) of the surface layer part 1a1 in the bearing surface is in a range of 1/60<=t/D1<=1/15 for the inside diameter D1 of the bearing surface.
