<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a golf club shaft, which is integrally made by laminating and winding bias sheets and a straight sheet along the axis direction made of high strength high elasticity fiber, be light weight and have improved strength by laminating and winding the bias sheets separately at or to the most outside layer and the most inner layer. SOLUTION: In this golf club shaft 1 integrally made by laminating and winding bias sheets 2 and a straight sheet 3 along the axis direction of the shaft 1, which are made of resin impregnated high strength high elasticity fiber, the bias sheets 2 are separately laminated and wound at or to the most outer layer and the most inner layer. By constituting the shaft in such a manner, the shaft is enhanced by snadwiching the straight layer by the bias sheets which controls the collapse strength of the shaft 1. That is, the tensile force in the circumferential direction generated when the shaft 1 is bent into an ellipse-like shape is suppressed by the outside and inside bias layers to make oriented fiber of the straight layer be hardly released from each other.</p> |
