PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method whereby crosslinked acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber particles having an average primary particle size of about 0.01-0.1μm are homogeneously dispersed in the state of primary particles without being swelled or dissolved. SOLUTION: In the process for producing an adhesive essentially contg. crosslinked acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber particles and a surface tension depressant, the rubber particles and the depressant are mixed first. Pref., an ethyl acrylate-ethylhexyl acrylate copolymer resin or at least one compd. selected from among dimethylsilicone, methylphenylsilicone, and methyhydrogensilicone is used as the depressant.
