PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate and recover m-dichlorobenzene in high purity dichlorobenzene isomeric mixture containing o-, the m- and p-dichlorobenzenes. SOLUTION: A zeolite containing potassium ions (K<+> ) and alkaline earth metal ions (M<2+> ) in a ratio represented by 2[M<2+> ]/(2[M<2+> ]+[K<+> ])×100 = 20-70 (equiv.%) is used as an adsorbent to separate and recover the m-dichlorobenzene when adsorbing and separating a dichlorobenzene isomeric mixture containing o-, the m- and p-dichlorobenzenes.
