PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet with printed image with high resolution and water resistance. SOLUTION: In this ink-jet recording sheet, a cationic urethane resin emulsion or a cationic acrylic resin emulsion is incorporated in a white pigment layer provided on a substrate such as a paper and in addition, a polyvinyl alcohol, especially pref a polyvinyl alcohol with silyl groups is used by mixing. It is possible thereby to make printing density high and to make a printing dot to be a true round with a uniform extension and to have no running, clearness, high resolution, excellent ink fixing properties and excellent water resistance. |
