PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a protrusion outside a furnace and reduce an occupied space by integrally forming the outer shell of a burner with the outer shell of a regenerator by using a fire-resisting material and freely fitting the integral structure into an opening part formed on a furnace wall. SOLUTION: An opening part 16 is formed on the front part of a burner outer shell 14 made of a fire-resisting material. A burner tile 18 is fitted into the opening. A free chamber 38 in a regenerator outer shell 32 communicates with the inner part of the burner outer shell 14 and many regenerative media 40 is housed therein. In such a way, the burner outer shell 14 is integrally formed with the regenerator outer shell 32 to have a panel structure. A regenerative combustion device 8 is fitted into and fixed to an opening part 46 formed on a furnace wall 44. Thus, the regenerative combustion device 8 can be extremely simply attached to the furnace wall 44. Since a part of the regenerative combustion device 8 is inserted into the furnace wall 44, the length of protrusion from the furnace wall 44 is decreased, so that an occupied space outside 48 the furnace is reduced. |
