PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the old developer from retaining in a container by improving the agitating work of the developer in improving an agitating unit, at the time of agitate/transporting the developer inside the developer container in the developing device adopted for the image forming, on the developer carrier by the agitating unit. SOLUTION: In this image forming device provided with the developer container 9 accommodating the developer, the developer carrier 6 carry/transporting the developer, and the agitating unit 1 agitating the developer in the developer container so as to be moved to the developer carrier 6, the agitating unit 1 is constituted so as to equip a rotary driven supporting shaft 1a and a large number of brush elements 1b provided with elasticity, extending in the radial direction while being supported by the supporting shaft 10, to make the developer 6 agitated by the rotary moving elastic brush elements 16, wound up scattered, so as to make the developer easily stuck on the developer carrier 6 and to prevent the old developer from retaining in the container. |
